Make it Happen!
The Eastern Florida Alliance of Media Producers is a Florida-based mutual support group for people who make things on screens. We serve the area roughly bounded by Daytona to the North, Orlando to the West, Melbourne to the East, and Fort Pierce to the South.
EFAMP was initiated in April 2023 to capitalize on the development of practical Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, computer and camera hardware/software advancements, and virtual communications to provide unique opportunities for our members.
What We Do
Creative challenges get folks working together and force participants to think in new ways. They are designed to push people outside of their comfort zone, and they are open to both our membership and the general public.
Skills development runs in staged sequences: a virtual session covering the basics, then a field exercise for hands-on practice, then the actual event. Unlike the creative challenges, these are tailored to subsects of our membership.
Media projects include both native group efforts and associate productions, for-profit work among them. EFAMP selects efforts that we believe will let our members showcase their skills and have fun in the process. You can see what we have made on the projects page.
Meetings
We meet at the Satellite Beach Schecter Center, 1089 South Patrick Drive, Satellite Beach, Florida. Meetings are open to the public and to anyone considering membership, not only to current members. Dates are announced on the upcoming events page and in our Facebook group.
Membership
Active members receive priority in casting, crew selection, and training opportunities.
